In his post, Adhav had expressed fears of a Gen-G movement against the Tamil Nadu government. Acting on this post, the Chennai Cyber ​​Crime Police filed a case under several sections of the Indian Penal Code. He faces serious charges including inciting violence, threatening national integrity, and spreading false information.

TVK leaders approach Madras High Court

Following the FIR, Adhav Arjun approached the Madras High Court. He claims the complaint is politically motivated. He did not mention any caste, religion, or community in his post. However, the post was deleted within half an hour, and the complaint was filed against him 18 hours after it was deleted.

Meanwhile, the Chennai Cyber ​​Police stated that the post had been read by over 100,000 people before it was deleted. The police have the right to take action against such statements. After hearing the case, the Madras High Court reserved its decision.

It should be noted that after the Karur stampede on September 27, Adhav shared a post on Instagram warning the Tamil Nadu government that if the government failed to address public anger, Tamil Nadu could face a Gen-Z movement similar to those in Sri Lanka and Nepal. It should be noted that a stampede broke out during actor Vijay's rally in Karur, killing 41 people. The cause of the stampede is still unclear. An investigation is underway.
