Chhatarpur: A horrific road accident took place in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. Seven people died and more than six people were injured in the accident. Actually, all the people were going from Chhatarpur railway station to visit Bageshwar Dham in an auto. Then the speeding auto collided with a truck on the highway.

The accident took place on Jhansi Khajuraho Highway NH 39 at around 5 am on Tuesday. A large number of devotees got down at Chhatarpur station and left for Bageshwar Dham in autos.

Police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported

As soon as the news of the accident was received, the police reached the spot and the injured were immediately taken to the district hospital. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical.
