News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking incident has come to light in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. 5 students of class 8 suddenly went missing from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Girls Hostel located in Ginjri area of Pali city of the district. The entire incident came to light on Sunday morning when the girls did not reach for breakfast. After this, there was a stir and the police was immediately informed.
How did the matter come to light?
Assistant warden of the hostel, Sarika Sharma, said that on Saturday night the students had participated in the Janmashtami program and had also eaten food. Everything seemed normal. But the next day, that is, on Sunday morning, when breakfast time came, the five girls did not come. When they were searched for, the hostel rooms were found empty.
Police formed a special investigation team
District Superintendent of Police (SP) Nivedita Naidu said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to search for the girls. The team has immediately started searching the area. Police deployment has been increased at the bus stand, railway station and surrounding areas. Apart from this, CCTV footage is also being scanned.
SP Naidu has said that the police is making every possible effort to trace the girls as soon as possible. All the posts from the district headquarters to the neighboring areas have been alerted. Bus stations and railway stations are also being monitored.
During the investigation, the police found a note. In this letter, a girl has written that "I want to become something, I want to earn and eat, that's why I am leaving." It is clear from this letter that the girls must have left the hostel on their own will. However, the police is still investigating all the aspects.
Families allege negligence
The families of the missing girls have made serious allegations against the hostel management. They say that the hostel gate was broken and there was no boundary wall. They also claimed that the CCTV cameras installed in the hostel were not working for a long time. The family members allege that if there were proper security arrangements in the hostel, this incident would not have happened.
