He shared photos and videos from the film's sets on his X account. Many members of the original cast are returning for the sequel, and Anupam is also very excited about the return of Boman Irani as Kishan Khurana!
BTS photos bring back old memories
Anupam shared BTS photos with Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, and Kiran Juneja, who worked in the 2006 film. He wrote in the caption, “The Khoslas are back and how! I've been in films for four decades now. But I've never experienced such a crazy wait for a sequel to any film (including international films) as I have for Khosla Ka Ghosla 2! Boman Irani's iconic look revealed
Hinting at the return of Khuranaji, aka Boman, Anupam shared a short video of the actor practicing his iconic smile. He captioned it, "Khurrana is back...and how. The iconic Khurana saab is back in the lives of the Khosla family with his trademark, dangerous Uncleji smile."
Ravi Kishan will also be a part of the sequel.
Anupam also revealed that Ravi Kishan will be in the sequel. He welcomed Ravi by posting a video with him on his X account a few days ago, captioning it, “So happy that my very dear friend Ravi Kishan has joined the cast of Khosla Ka Ghosla 2. I admire Ravi as a wonderful actor, a hardworking MP, and most of all, as a human being. Calm, humble, kind, helpful, honest, and someone who loves India very much! Looking forward to our scenes together.”
The film won the National Award
Dibakar Banerjee's 2006 film Khosla Ka Ghosla was a critical and commercial success. Anupam played Kamal Kishore Khosla, a middle-class man from Delhi who, along with his family, tries to reclaim their land, which has been seized by the builder Khurana, played by Boman. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
