News Topical, Digital Desk : The growing LPG shortage in Uttar Pradesh is now affecting the Ramnagari city of Ayodhya. Here, too, supplies of both domestic and commercial cylinders are running low. In light of the large number of devotees expected for Ram Navami, local saints have appealed to devotees to celebrate the festival at home. Tapasvi Chavani Peethadhishwar Paramhans Acharya stated that if devotees do not receive food, it will be a problem, and he has also appealed to the administration.
According to Acharya, his ashram, along with all other ashrams, receives a large number of devotees, and thousands of meals are cooked daily. The shortage of cylinders has exacerbated the problem. Therefore, people should refrain from coming to Ayodhya for Ram Navami, or the problems will worsen.
Complaint of not getting cylinder for three months
Jagadguru Paramahansa Acharya, the head of the Tapasvi Cantonment, made a significant statement, stating that the ashram has not been receiving gas cylinders for the past three months. The gas shortage is also affecting the service of offerings to the Lord, a highly sensitive matter related to faith.
He further said that a large number of devotees are expected to reach Ayodhya on the occasion of the upcoming Ram Janmotsav, but in the current circumstances, it may be difficult to make proper arrangements for food and prasad for them.
Appeal to celebrate Ram Navami at home
Given the gravity of the situation, Jagadguru Paramahansa Acharya has appealed to Ram devotees with folded hands to celebrate Lord Shri Ram's birth anniversary at home instead of coming to Ayodhya this time. He has also urged the administration to immediately address this issue and the Chief Minister to issue clear guidelines regarding the arrival of devotees.
It should be noted that public kitchens and other kitchens have been closed in many locations. Signs have been posted everywhere stating that the system will only resume once the gas supply is restored.
