According to a report by news agency ANI, the person who filed the complaint against Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Awasthi is Hitesh Kantilal Ajmera, 52, who owns a customs clearance business. Hitesh filed the complaint at the Pantnagar police station, accusing Akanksha Awasthi, her husband Vivek Kumar alias Abhishek Kumar Singh Chauhan, and their associates of defrauding him of ₹11.50 crore.

Based on the victim's complaint, the police have registered an FIR against the actress as well as her associates and have started investigation.

11.50 crores by claiming to have a strong hold in the film industry

The victim filed a police complaint, stating that Akanksha and her associates deceived him by claiming they had strong connections in the film industry and were wealthy. Akanksha Awasthi claimed she owned a film studio and artist training center in Andheri. Hitesh also stated in his complaint that they lured him into investing by promising studio ownership, fame, and an interest-free loan of ₹200 crore.

According to the complaint, the actress's husband Vivek Kumar had fabricated a story saying that he had Rs 300 crore in cash in a warehouse in Bettiah area of ​​Bihar.

Money is stuck due to legal problems

The victim stated that Akanksha's husband claimed that their money was stuck due to legal issues and that an investment was necessary to retrieve it. In return, he promised to return 200 crore rupees, interest-free, within four days. His wife herself assured the victim that he would return the money.

Rs 11.50 crore transferred between March and July

The victim stated that between March and July 2024, he transferred ₹11.50 crore to various bank accounts. Akanksha and her husband took the victim to Patna and showed him documents from the alleged warehouse to convince him to trust them. A plan was also made to take the victim to Bettiah.

The man said that on July 5, 2024, while he was on his way to Bettiah, Vivek Kumar went out on the pretext of buying sweets and never returned. He later switched off his mobile phone. For a few days, the accused continued to make various excuses, but later disappeared completely.
