News Topical, Digital Desk : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Kartavya Bhavan on Kartavya Path in New Delhi on August 6. The Prime Minister will also address a public function on this occasion.

What is the specialty of Kartavya Bhavan?

Kartavya Bhawan has been designed to promote efficiency, innovation and coordination in government work. This new building will consolidate ministries and departments scattered across various parts of Delhi at one place.

The building will house the Ministries of Home Affairs, External Affairs, Rural Development, MSMEs, Petroleum and Natural Gas, DoPT and the office of the Principal Scientific Advisor (PSA).

This will not only improve the functioning but will also speed up the decision making process through mutual coordination. The aim of the government is to make the administration modern, efficient and accountable, and Kartavya Bhawan is being considered an important step in this direction.
