Officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), IB and Military Intelligence (MI) are continuously interrogating Jyoti. Accused Jyoti is on 5-day police remand.
Meanwhile, an alleged conversation between Jyoti and a Pakistani intelligence officer has surfaced. In the conversation, Jyoti is mentioning her connection with Pakistan. The WhatsApp chat between Jyoti and ISI officer Ali Hasan has been leaked to the authorities. In the chat, Malhotra is seen telling Hasan, "Get me married in Pakistan."
Jyoti's bank accounts are being investigated
This chat reveals how emotionally Jyoti was attached to Pakistan. The police have received information about Jyoti's four bank accounts. Transactions have also been made from Dubai in one of these accounts. The agency is now investigating all her bank accounts and trying to find out the source of the money.
Jyoti also met Maryam in Pakistan
Police informed that she has visited Pakistan thrice. A year ago, Jyoti Malhotra went on a tour of Kartarpur Corridor and met Pakistan's Punjab province Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif there. Maryam is the daughter of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Jyoti also talked to Maryam. Jyoti also met a Pakistani YouTuber there and invited him to visit India.
