Justice Verma will have to face impeachment! Shocking revelations in the investigation committee report, recommendation for removal from the post

News Topical, Digital Desk : The report of the Supreme Court committee probing the case of cash found at the house of former Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Verma has arrived. This report states that there are sufficient facts against Justice Verma to prove that corruption has taken place. Action should be initiated to remove him from the post. 

Actually, this whole matter came to light after a sudden fire broke out in the government residence of former Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Verma. In March 2025, on receiving information about the fire in his house, a team of Delhi Fire Service and Delhi Police reached there. Delhi Fire Service and police officials saw a huge amount of cash there, many of which were half burnt. Later, a video of this place also went viral on social media in which burnt notes were seen. After the matter came to light, the then Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sanjeev Khanna had formed a committee of three judges and asked to submit the investigation report. On the basis of the report of this committee, now the proceedings to remove Justice Verma from his post can be started.
