A yellow alert has been issued regarding this. There is also a possibility of heavy rain in the capital Ranchi.

Heavy rain in Jamshedpur too, many roads submerged

It is raining heavily in Jamshedpur city. Due to continuous rain, major roads of Mango, Sakchi, Jugsalai, Burmamines, Bistupur and other areas have been submerged on Wednesday. Knee-deep water accumulated near Jugsalai Over Bridge and Sakchi MGM Hospital roundabout.

This caused a lot of inconvenience to the people and a long queue of vehicles was formed. An ambulance got stuck in the jam at the main gate of MGM. The security personnel somehow took the ambulance out. Long queues of vehicles remained here for 40 minutes around three o'clock. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, 45 mm of rain was recorded in the city on Wednesday. Due to this the water level of the rivers is continuously increasing.

Swarnarekha and Kharkai rivers are in danger zone

Swarnarekha and Kharkai rivers have reached close to the danger level. In view of this, the district administration is also on alert mode. People living in low-lying areas have been alerted. At the same time, the electricity department has also issued an alert. The electricity department has said that it is raining continuously in the city.

In such a situation, there is a need to be especially cautious to avoid lightning-related accidents. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 33.1 degrees and the minimum temperature was 24.0 degrees Celsius. On Thursday too, there may be light rain in the city.
