The film's story is set in a universe where black magic is more than just a ritual. 'Jaatadhar' explores the use of supernatural powers as weapons that can unleash uncontrollable forces. The story revolves around a witch, played by Sonakshi Sinha, who has guarded a gold treasure for centuries. As the story progresses, what begins as a treasure hunt turns into a journey filled with dangers, curses, and the return of vengeful spirits.
Sudhir is portrayed in the film as a ghost hunter who doesn't believe in ghosts and debunks myths. Shilpa's character is a woman who becomes tempted when told of a treasure hidden in her house. She unwittingly releases a witch (Sonakshi), who demands a sacrifice no one can understand. Sudhir must confront the demon and regain her trust before it's too late.
