News Topical, Digital Desk : Israel has launched a major attack on Iran. According to an AP report, explosions were heard in central Tehran. Israel has also urged citizens in its country to remain on alert.
Israel issued an alert
The Israel Defense Forces announced the attack in a post on the social media platform X. "In the past few minutes, sirens have sounded throughout Israel, and cellular devices have been alerted with advance instructions to stay directly near safe locations," Israel said in the post.
The Israeli Defense Ministry informed its public, saying, "This is a proactive alert to prepare the public for the possibility of missiles being fired toward Israel. The IDF urges people to stay near safe places."
