News Topical, Digital Desk : A ceasefire has come into effect between Iran and Israel. This ceasefire was made possible with the help of America, but Qatar has also played the role of mediator in it.
Meanwhile, Israel has claimed that Iran has carried out attacks despite the implementation of the latest ceasefire. However, Iran's news agency ISNA has rejected such allegations. Iran has said that it has not carried out any attack after the ceasefire.
IAEA summons Iran for a meeting
Meanwhile, the head of the UN nuclear watchdog (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, said he had written to Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to propose a meeting and urge cooperation following the declaration of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said in a post on X that Iran's resumption of cooperation with the agency could lead to a diplomatic solution to the long-running dispute over Tehran's nuclear programme.
