Psoriasis patients should eat an anti-inflammatory diet, such as old rice, wheat, barley, mung bean, lentils, pigeon pea, bottle gourd, pointed gourd, drumstick, cucumber, ridge gourd, pomegranate, apple, papaya, lukewarm water, turmeric milk, and herbal tea. Psoriasis patients should avoid fried foods, red meat, refined flour and white bread, alcohol and smoking, dairy products, tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes, processed and packaged foods.
Apart from this, psoriasis patients should reduce stress and do yoga, do light exercise every day, also take a short walk after meals, get enough sleep, keep the skin moisturized i.e. apply moisturizer, protect from sunlight and too much sunlight can cause damage to the skin.
