News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump has once again claimed the death of Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. Addressing the Future Investment Initiative Priorities Summit in Miami, Trump said that US military strikes have devastated Iran's top leadership and defense system.
Meanwhile, Trump has claimed that US military strikes killed Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. This has left Iran completely leaderless, and uncertainty about its leadership has increased.
Describing the US military action, Trump said that Iran's top leadership no longer exists. He claimed that all of Iran's leaders and the new Supreme Leader were dead.
Trump has made the claim before.
Trump has made claims about Mojtaba Khamenei before. On March 16, Trump said, "We don't know if he (Mojtaba Khamenei) is dead. I will say that no one has seen him, which is unusual."
He became the new Supreme Leader after the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Mojtaba was appointed successor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after his death on February 28, but he has not been seen in public since. Trump claimed Mojtaba was killed in US military action.
Destroying Iran
"Iran's navy is gone. It's completely sunk to the bottom of the Gulf, their air force is completely destroyed, their anti-aircraft and communications capabilities are completely dismantled and inoperable," Trump said during his address at the Future Investment Initiative Priorities Summit in Miami.
"We are destroying Iran's weapons stockpiles, wrecking their missile and drone factories on a scale no one has ever imagined, and completely destroying their defense industrial base," Trump added.
