News Topical, Digital Desk : Iran's judiciary chief, Gholamhossein Mohseni Eje'i, has said that the country has not retreated an inch from its core demands and that the entire nation has stood united against recent external attacks. He added that Iran has never backed down and will never do so.
According to Iranian state media ISNA, Ajei claimed unprecedented national unity during the conflict, saying that all sectors of society united to confront the invaders. He said, "All of Iran became a common front that fought and defended the country. Such an example is rare in our history."
Tehran remains firm on its stance
He attributed this unity to divine grace, saying that with God's help and strength, the country has resisted global forces. Ejei also said that the warring parties are now seeking a diplomatic solution, while Tehran remains firm on its stance.
AJE clarified that all decisions related to conflict and peace are being taken under the jurisdiction of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Husseini Khamenei and the country is moving forward under the framework set by him.
US-Israeli attacks failed to subdue us, says Iranian ambassador
Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, has claimed that the US and Israel failed to achieve any of their military objectives in the recent conflict and their attacks were a "complete failure".
He said that what Trump could not achieve during the war, he will not be able to achieve through negotiations. Negotiations should mean an agreement on an equal and win-win basis.
According to Al Jazeera, in an interview with the Russian newspaper Vedomosti, Jalali said that Washington will not get any additional success on the diplomatic front.
"They claimed to take over all of Iran in a matter of days and implement regime change. The question is, which goal did they achieve? None," he said.
According to Jalali, US demands also changed over the course of the conflict. He said that the US, which initially called for "regime change," ultimately settled on simply opening the Strait of Hormuz. This too failed.
The Iranian ambassador also rejected the naval blockade, saying such measures were meaningless in the face of Tehran's strong will. He added that the war had strengthened Iran's unity rather than weakening it.
