News Topical, Digital Desk : The ongoing war between Iran and Israel is getting fiercer. Israel is targeting Iran's capital Tehran, nuclear sites and military bases. Iran is also engaged in destroying military bases in Israel. Thousands of Indians are stranded in Iran and Israel amidst the war. More than 10,000 Indians are stranded in Iran alone, more than half of whom are students. The Indian government has launched Operation Sindhu to evacuate Indians from the midst of the war.

54 girls are also among the students returning from Iran 

Under Operation Sindhu, a group of 110 students from Iran has reached Delhi today. These students have been brought to India via Armenia. Indigo Airlines flight landed in Delhi at 3:43 am. Out of these 110 students, 94 are from Jammu and Kashmir while 16 are from other 6 states. 54 girls are also included in the students returning from Iran. After returning to the country safely, happiness was clearly visible on the faces of these students.

Today is the 7th day of war between Iran and Israel

At the same time, let us tell you that today is the 7th day of the ongoing war between Israel and Iran. As the days are passing, the war between the two countries is getting fiercer. On Wednesday, Israel made a massive attack on Tehran. More than 50 Israeli fighter planes heavily bombed Iran's capital Tehran. The Israeli Air Force targeted Iran's nuclear site in Tehran and nearby Karaj. In both these nuclear facilities, Iran makes centrifuges used in uranium enrichment.

How many Iranian people have died in the war so far?

The Israeli army claimed that 25 fighter jets destroyed 5 Iranian attack helicopters in Iran's western city of Kermanshah. Israeli fighter jets also attacked those sites in Iran from where missiles were being fired on Israel. So far, about six hundred Iranian people have been killed and more than 1300 people have been injured in Israeli attacks.
