Jagan Reddy has informed that he will visit Tirupati Balaji Temple on September 28 and perform Puja-Archana and Kshama Anushthan. YSR Congress sources informed that Jagan Reddy is expected to reach Tirumala on September 27 and stay overnight there. Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on September 28. Jagan Reddy called upon people to participate in prayers in temples across Andhra Pradesh on September 28 to atone for the sin allegedly committed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu by accusing Tirupati laddus.
What is the whole controversy?
Just a few days ago, CM Naidu had alleged in the NDA Legislature Party meeting that the previous Jagan Reddy's YSRCP government did not even spare the Sri Venkateswara temple and used substandard material and animal fat to make laddus. These allegations have sparked a massive controversy across the country.
BJP-TDP made a big demand
BJP and TDP have also issued statements on Jagan Reddy's visit to Tirupati Balaji temple . Andhra Pradesh BJP President D Purandeswari has said that we have been told that Jagan Mohan Reddy is going to visit Tirumala on the 28th of this month. The practice of expressing one's faith in Tirumala has been prevalent for decades. BJP demands that Jagan Mohan Reddy declare his faith in front of the Garuda statue in Alipiri before starting the climb to Tirumala. At the same time, TDP national spokesperson Prem Kumar Jain said whether Jagan Reddy will fill the SIC form and then express his devotion at the Tirumala temple.
