News Topical, Digital Desk : On Israel's annual Holocaust Memorial Day, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took aim at Iran and its nuclear program. Netanyahu compared Iranian nuclear facilities to Nazi death camps.

In his address on Israel's annual Holocaust Memorial Day, Netanyahu warned Iran, saying, "Israel stands firm against its enemies. We promised there would be no second Holocaust, and this year we have fulfilled that promise."

If we hadn't taken action...

"If we had not acted, the names of Natanz, Fordo, Isfahan and Parchin would have been remembered forever in infamy, just like Auschwitz, Treblinka, Majdanek and Sobibor," Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu not only referred to the two blows dealt to Iran but also sharply criticized Europe's moral weakness. He said the country was taking decisive action to neutralize the threats to its existence and ensure its survival.

Europe is losing its responsibility for civilization.

Netanyahu also warned that Europe was losing control of its responsibility to protect its identity, its values, and its civilization. Describing Europe as suffering from a profound moral weakness, he said that today Israel is not only defending itself, but also defending a Europe that has “forgotten much since the Holocaust.”

Netanyahu added, "It has much to learn from us, especially the essential lesson of the clear moral distinction between good and evil, which demands of us in moments of truth that we fight for good, for life."

Israel leads with America

He said, "We, together with the United States, as well as with other countries with whom we are building alliances that will be discussed in the future, are defending ourselves; we are defending the entire world. Israel stands with the United States at the forefront of the free world. In two joint operations conducted in the past year, the United States and Israel have dealt a crushing blow to the rogue regime in Iran."

The Nazis murdered 6 million Jews

The Holocaust was at its peak during World War II, between 1941 and 1945. It began after Nazi Germany came to power in 1933. During this period, the Nazis and their collaborators systematically murdered approximately six million Jews. This genocide continued until the war's end in 1945.
