An incident of stabbing was witnessed during Ganesh Visarjan in Belgaum, Karnataka. Three people have been injured in this attack. Actually, the youths who have been injured were involved in the Ganesh Visarjan procession. The injured people in this incident have been identified as Darshan Patil, Satish Pujari and Praveen Gundiyagola. Belgaum Police Commissioner E Martin said that the stabbing incident took place near the Civil Hospital. Actually, during the immersion procession, two youths who were dancing touched each other. After this, a dispute broke out between the two and a fight broke out. The police present there separated both of them after convincing them.

After the procession was over, a young man came there with his friends and assaulted the three and attacked them with a knife. The police is investigating the matter. Regarding this incident, Police Commissioner E Martin said that this incident did not happen during the procession. It happened near the Civil Hospital. Initial investigation shows that there was some scuffle during the procession. The police team present there intervened and separated the two groups after convincing them. This incident happened after the procession was over. We came to know that there was already some enmity between the victim and the accused, due to which this incident happened.
The police commissioner said this
He said, "They were all friends. So they came in a group to attack. It has been learned that both were dancing in the procession and collided with each other, after which the fight started. All three have suffered minor injuries. They are stable and are undergoing treatment. We have to investigate whether the accused were drunk. The matter is under investigation." Let us tell you that a similar case was seen in Trilokpuri in East Delhi. Here on Tuesday night, youths returning from Ganesh Puja got into a fight with other youths in Trilokpuri. However, the police said that there is no communal angle in this. This is a case of old rivalry.
