News Topical, Digital Desk : After making box office history, Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna's "Dhurandhar" was streamed on OTT on January 30. Fans had been waiting for the film's OTT release for a long time.

As soon as the spy thriller was released on Netflix, fans immediately abandoned their sleepless nights to watch the film. Read on to find out why the excitement surrounding Dhurandhar 's OTT release turned into anger after watching Aditya Dhar's film on OTT.

Fans noticed this as soon as 'Dhurandhar' came on OTT.

According to a report in the Times of India, when Dhurandhar was released on the OTT platform, the smiles on fans' faces completely vanished. This was because Dhurandhar had to go through the censor board process before its OTT release. The film was given an A (Adult) rating by the censors.

When fans watched the film, they noticed that some of the dialogues and profanity had been muted during the OTT release of "Dhurandhar," and that a total of 10 minutes had been cut from the film. This led them to criticize the streaming platforms and the makers. Users complained to Aditya Dhar on social media, saying they were expecting to see an uncensored version of "Dhurandhar" on OTT. The movie was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages as well.

Fans expressed their displeasure on social media

After watching Dhurandhar on Netflix, a user commented, “You muted the lyrics even after giving this film an A certificate. Do we look like 5-year-olds to you? Everyone on this app is over 18. What's the point of watching a film with so many cuts and censorship? You've ruined the raw vibe of this film.”

Another user wrote, "As soon as Dhurandhar was released on Netflix, the dialogues were cut. The abuses were censored. If we can't get the uncut version on OTT, where will we get it?" Another user wrote, "Brother, what's the point of releasing this film on OTT if you're censoring its best parts?"
