Film critic Taran Adarsh shared a post on his Instagram account revealing the new release date for "Chand Mera Dil." The Ananya Panday and Lakshya starrer is scheduled to release in theaters on May 8, 2026. The reason for the postponement has not been revealed.
Who scared Ananya-Lakshya's film?
Salman Khan's film "Battle of Galwan" is releasing in April. Currently, Ananya Panday and Lakshya's musical romantic drama will face competition from Akshay Kumar's "Bhoot Bangla," which releases in theaters on May 15, 2026.
Lakshya will share the screen with Ananya for the first time.
"Chand Mera Dil" is Lakshya Lalwani's second major theatrical release. His debut film was "Kill," also produced under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions banner.
