News Topical, Digital Desk : A 30-year-old Indian student was stabbed to death in Worcester, England. The attack occurred on Tuesday morning and the young man was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died . According to local reports, the deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar Sheoran from Haryana's Charkhi Dadri district, although British police have not yet officially identified him.

How the attack happened

According to West Mercia Police, at around 4:15 a.m. on November 25th, they found a young man with serious injuries on Barbourne Road in Worcester. He was immediately taken to hospital but died the same day. Police arrested six people in connection with the murder. Five of these suspects are now out on bail, while the sixth has been released without further action.

Police appeal

Investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Lee Holehouse said his team was working tirelessly to establish what happened on Tuesday morning that claimed the life of a young man.

He said police teams would be present on Barbourne Road throughout the weekend to gather evidence. He urged people not to panic and to share any information, no matter how small .

Seeking help for the family

Sunil Satpal Sangwan, MLA from Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, expressed deep grief over the incident. He said that this is a time of unbearable grief for the family and that the Indian government should immediately intervene and arrange for Vijay's body to be brought back to India as soon as possible. He also demanded a fair and timely investigation so that the culprits are punished severely.
