What is the whole matter?
Calgary taxi driver Hardeep Singh Toor responded to an urgent call late last Saturday night telling him he needed to take someone to the hospital, but later learned it was a couple struggling to time their baby's birth, Global News reported Wednesday.
Hardeep Singh Toor understood the urgency of the situation and helped the couple into his cab. Speaking to CTV, Hardeep Singh Toor said, "I thought about calling an ambulance, but considering the weather, I thought that might not be the right decision."
The hospital was right in front of us, and the baby was born in the back seat of the car. Toor said, "I didn't stop; I was thinking I had to get there as quickly as possible so he could get medical treatment."
