This test has been successfully conducted from the Integrated Test Center at Chandipur in Odisha. All operational and technical parameters have been confirmed in the test of Agni 5 missile. This test has been completed under the aegis of India's Strategic Force Command.

What are the features of Agni-5 missile?

Agni-5 is India's most powerful medium-range ballistic missile. This missile is capable of carrying a nuclear bomb and has a range of about 5000 kilometers. Agni-5 covers almost half of the world, including Pakistan and China. The Defense Ministry has informed that the Agni-5 missile has met all operational and technical parameters in the current test.

Agni-5 is equipped with MIRV technology 

Agni-5 missile has been built with modern navigation, guidance, warhead and engine technology. This improves the missile's striking power and accuracy. Let us tell you that Agni-5 also has MIRV technology. Under this, a single missile can carry multiple nuclear weapons and attack, which can hit different targets. Only a few countries have such capability.

DRDO has built it

Agni-5 missile has been manufactured by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Let us tell you that Agni-5 missile has been tested earlier as well. The first test of this missile was done in April 2012. Agni-5 has a range of almost the whole of Asia including the northernmost part of China as well as some areas of Europe. It has been developed keeping in view the long-term security needs of the country. Agni 1 to 4 missiles have a range of 700 km to 3,500 km and have already been deployed.
