News Topical, Digital Desk : Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a lengthy social media post earlier this month, leveled serious allegations against Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir . He said that instead of the Constitution and the law, " Asim Law " now prevails in the country.

Imran Khan claims that Asim Munir is the most authoritarian and brutal ruler and that the repression under his rule is unprecedented. In recent days, baseless rumors of Imran Khan's death in prison have also been circulating on social media.

His sisters have alleged that they were manhandled when they went to visit their brother and have not been allowed to see him for three weeks. Imran Khan stated in his post that Asim Munir's regime has no mercy for women, the elderly, or children and will do anything to maintain power.

Allegations of atrocities against women

In his post, Imran Khan had mentioned several incidents including those of May 9 , 2023, November 26, 2024, Azad Kashmir and Muridke, which he described as examples of ' brutal abuse of power ' .

He said that senior leader Dr. Yasmeen Rashid, who has battled cancer, is in jail simply for refusing to leave the PTI . His wife, Bushra Bibi, has also been placed in solitary confinement to pressure him. Imran said, " We would rather choose death than slavery. The atrocities we are facing have never befallen any political family. "

Imran's clear message

Imran Khan stated that the PTI will no longer negotiate with the government or the military, as each dialogue has only led to increased oppression. He stated that currently, all authority rests with one person, Asim Munir. Decisions regarding negotiations will now be made by his ally, Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Ain Pakistan, and its leaders, Mahmud Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas .

Imran Khan appealed to PTI leaders, lawmakers, and lawyers to go to the High Court and not leave until a hearing date is set. He said the hearings in his and his wife Bushra Bibi's cases are being deliberately delayed so that they remain in jail. He said everyone knows there is nothing in these cases, which is why the hearings are being stalled. He expressed full confidence in senior lawyer Salman Akbar Raja, saying he will oversee all legal proceedings.

' I will fight till the last breath '

Imran Khan stated that he would not bow down under any circumstances. He told the nation that countries that follow the principle of "liberty or death" cannot be stopped, and only such nations move forward with dignity.

Previously, in a May 2024 article, Imran Khan alleged that the military was trying to eliminate him and the PTI . He stated that Asim Munir would be responsible if anything happened to him or his wife.

Imran Khan has been in prison since August 2023. He has been convicted in several cases, including sharing secrets, inciting violence, and the Toshakhana case. In January 2025, he was sentenced to 14 years in prison, while his wife was also sentenced to seven years in prison in the same land corruption case.
