
News Topical, Digital Desk : Samajwadi Party founding member Azam Khan has finally been released from Sitapur jail after 23 months of imprisonment. Following his release, Azam Khan returned to his home in Rampur, where he was warmly welcomed by his supporters and admirers.
Meanwhile, after his release, Azam Khan was also seen addressing the media and while talking to ABP Live, he gave his reaction on SP General Secretary Shivpal Yadav not reaching to meet him in jail.

On SP leader Shivpal Yadav not reaching Sitapur jail, Azam Khan said, "Don't say that he is getting punishment. If you say so, who knows how much punishment he will get." On the party leaders not coming, he said, "Now I can't wait for anyone. I spent five years in a small cell and my sense of humor has died."
He further said, "If the cases had any merit, you wouldn't have found me out. I expect to get justice from the lower courts to the Supreme Court. You will see that one day I will be completely exonerated, and there will be no need to withdraw the cases against Akhilesh Yadav."

When asked if the SP will form a government in 2027, he said, "I can't make any predictions." He also replied, "I couldn't get my own ticket," when asked if he would meet with ST Hasan. "He's our elder, our leader," he said.
