During his address to the nation, Trump said, “I restored American power. I settled eight wars in 10 months, destroyed the Iranian nuclear threat, and ended the war in Gaza, bringing peace to the Middle East for the first time in 3,000 years and securing the release of hostages, both living and dead.”

Addressing the nation, US President Donald Trump said, "Today I am proud to announce that more than 1,450,000 military personnel will receive a special warrior dividend before Christmas. In honor of our nation's founding in 1776, we are sending $1,776 to each soldier." Trump also blamed immigrants for "stealing" American jobs.

US dismantles foreign drug cartels

Trump did not address Venezuela, where he has imposed an oil blockade and amassed US military assets near the country. Instead, his Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, suggested that the Latin American country's gasoline belongs to Washington. He also made only passing mention of his campaign of military strikes against suspicious boats in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean, saying the US has eliminated bloodthirsty foreign drug cartels.

Trump said his administration has significantly reduced grocery prices. He claimed that Democratic leaders have drastically increased grocery prices. "But we're addressing that problem as well." The price of Thanksgiving turkeys has dropped 33% compared to last year. The price of eggs has fallen 82% since March.
