News Topical, Digital Desk : Trump, who is trying to bring about a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, has now expressed his displeasure at Russian President Vladimir Putin. US President Donald Trump on Sunday called Russia's continued bombing of Ukraine wrong.
Trump got angry with Putin
Expressing deep displeasure over the bombing of Ukraine (Russia Ukraine War), Trump said,
I'm not happy with Putin. I don't know what's wrong with him. He's killing a lot of people. I'm not happy with that.
Trump said this at the airport in Morristown, New Jersey, as he prepared to return to Washington. Trump said this in response to the Russian attack of 367 drones and missiles on Ukrainian cities overnight on Sunday. Kiev was also attacked in this attack.
Russia carried out the biggest attack ever
Let us tell you that the war between Russia and Ukraine is not stopping. On the night of Saturday-Sunday, Russia carried out the biggest air attack on Ukraine so far. In this attack, a total of 367 drones and missiles were fired on many Ukrainian cities including the capital Kiev.
13 people died, more than 60 injured
In these attacks, 13 people have been killed and more than 60 injured, there has been huge loss of property as well. Russia has launched fresh attacks on Ukrainian cities with 69 missiles of different types and 298 drones. The 13 people killed also include three children from the Zhitomir region.
Zelensky posted
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took a dig at the US in a message posted on Telegram, saying that America's silence and the calm of other countries in the world are emboldening Putin.
This kind of terrorist attack on Russia is enough to impose new sanctions on it. It is worth mentioning that in terms of the use of weapons, the latest attack was the biggest air attack in the 39-month-long war. Whereas the Russian Defense Ministry has said that 95 Ukrainian drones that entered the country's airspace on the night of Saturday-Sunday were shot down. Out of these, 12 were heading towards the capital Moscow.
Zelensky's frustration over Russia's attacks is natural. America, which was providing all kinds of help till January 20, is now withdrawing military help. The European Union and Britain, which are pressuring Russia for a 30-day ceasefire, have recently imposed new sanctions on Russia. But US President Trump has refused to support them in imposing new sanctions.
