News Topical, Digital Desk : Yemen's Houthi rebels sank a ship named Magic Seas in the Red Sea. This ship was a Greek-owned bulk carrier. Yemen's Houthi rebels attacked it on July 6. Houthi rebels used drones, missiles, rockets and small arms to sink the ship in the sea.

Meanwhile, a video of this incident also surfaced on Wednesday. This video has been shared through an X handle named Iran Observer. In this 1 minute 39 second video, it can be seen that Houthi rebels used a missile to sink the bulk carrier ship in the sea.

 

All 22 crew members abandoned ship

The Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attack and said that the ship had violated the blockade imposed by them on Israel. Due to the attack by the Houthi rebels, the 22 crew members present in the ship had to leave the carrier and run away. Thankfully, all the people survived.

The bulk carrier was heading north towards the Suez Canal on Monday night when it came under continuous fire from small boats and bomb-laden drones. Security forces also retaliated but failed to confront the Houthi rebels.

 

Iran supports Houthi rebels  

Let us tell you that the Houthi rebels often keep an eye on the merchant ships sailing in the Red Sea. Let us tell you that the Houthi rebels work at the behest of Iran. Iran provides financial and military help to the Houthi rebels.

Israel and America remain the targets of the Houthi rebels. The terror of the Houthi rebels in the Red Sea has a bad effect on the global supply chain, especially South Asia.
