Teams of District Administration, SDRF and NDRF have left for the affected area.

Due to heavy rains, about 150 meters long road has completely collapsed, due to which cracks have appeared in the nearby residential houses. District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari said that many areas have been affected due to the continuous landslides in the district. To assess the damage caused by this natural disaster, the administration has prepared a detailed report and sent it to the government. An expert team formed by the Government of India will soon reach Chamoli and inspect the affected areas and assess the damage."
