News Topical, Digital Desk : Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest is set to see the announcement of a number of video games. A series of showcases from the likes of PlayStation, Xbox and other developers will be released. Sony's State of Play broadcast took place on June 4 and brought a lot of announcements and updates on upcoming games, including the reveal of 007 First Light, IO Interactive's James Bond game.
At the IOI showcase on June 6, the developer confirmed that 007 First Light would be featured in gameplay later this summer.
Many new announcements were made in the Summer Game
Summer Game Fest 2025 went live on June 6. A number of reveals and announcements were made. Resident Evil Requiem was officially announced as the ninth mainline entry in the Resident Evil franchise. Additionally, Dying Light: The Beast received a confirmed release date, and a new trailer for Capcom's Onimusha: Way of the Sword was released
Several other game showcase events will be held this weekend, including the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8. This will be followed by a direct presentation of The Outer Worlds 2. The PC Gaming Show, focused on games coming to PC, will be broadcast live on Sunday. We will tell you the complete schedule of this weekend.

What all can happen?
The Xbox Games Showcase is coming back on June 8. The showcase will feature updates and announcements on Microsoft's first-party games. There will be some third-party announcements as well. The Xbox parent has already announced an impressive list of games, some of which were revealed at last year's Xbox Games Showcase. So this time we can expect some updates on those titles.
