DIIs figures, 4 September 2025:- Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 16,588.04 crore in the cash segment on this day. On the other hand, shares worth Rs 14,354.95 crore have been sold. In this way, DIIs have made a net purchase of Rs 2,233.09 crore from the cash segment in this session.
FIIs figures, 4 September 2025:- Foreign institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 12,262.84 crore in the cash segment on this day. On the other hand, shares worth Rs 12,369.19 crore have been sold. In this way, FIIs have sold shares worth Rs 106.34 crore in the cash segment on this day. What is the trend this month? In the month of September so far, in 4 trading sessions, foreign institutional investors have sold net shares worth Rs 4,361.99 crore. In the month of August also, FIIs have sold shares worth Rs 46,902.92 crore. In July 2025, this figure of selling was Rs 47,666.68 crore. At the same time, domestic institutional investors have made net purchases of Rs 11,622.86 crore in the cash segment so far in September 2025. How was the market on Thursday? On Thursday, the market closed down from the upper levels of the session. After the functioning of the entire session, the Sensex closed at 80,718.01 with a gain of 150.30 points i.e. 0.19%. Nifty closed at 24,734.3 with a gain of 19.25 points i.e. 0.08%. Apollo Hospitals Enterprises was the fastest stock of Nifty with a gain of 2%. HDFC Life Insurance was the weakest stock of the index, falling 3%.
