According to data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE), on Thursday, May 15, FIIs made net purchases of Rs 5,392.94 crore in equities while DIIs made net sales of Rs 1,668.47 crore.
According to NSE data, FIIs bought shares worth Rs 21,412.00 crore and sold shares worth Rs 16,019.06 crore in the stock market on Thursday, making the net purchase Rs 5,392.94 crore. While domestic investors (DII) sold shares worth Rs 14,749.54 crore and sold shares worth Rs 16,418.01 crore, making the net sale Rs -1,668.47 crore.
How was the business in the market today? On the day of Nifty Weekly Expiry, the market saw enthusiasm. With this, after about 7 months, Nifty managed to cross 25,000 again. Nifty and Sensex closed with great gains on Thursday. Buying was also seen in midcap and smallcap stocks. All sector indices of BSE closed on the rise.
