News Topical, Digital Desk : Following the conclusion of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, all exit polls indicate an NDA government in the making. Meanwhile, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has claimed that the Grand Alliance will win more than 160 seats. He stated that the response before the vote count is even better than the response the Janata Dal received in 1995. Tejashwi Yadav made this statement during a press conference on Wednesday (November 12, 2025).

Tejashwi Yadav said, "Yesterday, people were standing in line for voting from 6 to 7 o'clock... People kept standing and the exit polls started coming. We are neither under any illusion nor under any misconception about the survey. This survey has been conducted only under psychological pressure from all the officials involved in the elections..." Tejashwi Yadav is the RJD candidate from Raghopur.

He told the media persons who had come to the press conference, "Earlier also you people used to show in surveys who the people of Bihar prefer as the Chief Minister's face... then Nitish Kumar could not get more than 16, 17 or 18 percent. This time the NDA has not even announced who will be the official CM face. This is the same media who had shown in surveys that Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan have been captured."

Results on 14th… swearing-in on 18th

On the exit poll, Tejashwi Yadav said, "We had said earlier that the results will be declared on the 14th and the swearing-in ceremony will take place on the 18th. This is definitely going to happen... BJP and NDA are sweating. They are nervous and restless."

Voting took place to replace Nitish Kumar.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said that if we compare the 2020 elections with this time's vote, 7.2 million people voted more this time. This is a significant figure. If we divide this 7.2 million among the 243 assembly constituencies, around 29,500 votes were cast in each assembly constituency. This means that these votes were not cast to save Nitish Kumar, but to change the government. The government is about to change. These 7.2 million people voted for change and transformation.

Tejashwi said, "We, you and all the people of Bihar know the strategy of pressurizing the administration... A survey has been conducted and every effort will be made to slow down the counting. The entire process of counting will be slowed down... No action will be taken where bomb blasts and other incidents have taken place, but to kill democracy, these people will even get the army to conduct flag marches in all the districts of Bihar to create terror among the people... The Grand Alliance is going to register a huge victory..." He said, "Last time the difference was only 12 thousand votes. This time we are going to do a clean sweep."
