Even after DIG's order, FIR of rape victim was not registered in Moradabad, TI suspended:

News Topical, Digital Desk : Moradabad News: In Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, despite the orders of DIG Range Muniraj, Inspector-in-charge of Majhola police station Ramprasad Sharma did not register a case against the rape victim. In this case, DIG Range has suspended Inspector Majhola Ramprasad Sharma and ordered a departmental inquiry against him.

In fact, a young woman living in Majhola area police station area had complained to DIG Range that Omkar, a resident of Bhagatpur, raped her on the pretext of marriage, after which he refused to marry her. Despite the order of DIG Muniraj ji, a case was not registered on the complaint of the rape victim in Majhola police station.

The victim met the DIG with her parents and demanded action again. The DIG got the matter investigated by SP Traffic Subhash Chandra Gangwar. Majhola police station in-charge RP Sharma was suspended after the victim's allegations were found to be true in the investigation report. Orders have also been given for a departmental inquiry against him.

Raped by mixing intoxicant in cold drink:
According to the victim, Omkar is a clerk in the Sales Tax department, after the relationship was finalised in January this year, the Tilak and Godhbharai ceremonies were held in a hotel. As the wedding date came near, Omkar's father started demanding Rs 30 lakhs in dowry. The victim alleges that the accused Omkar has built his house in Naya Moradabad. On the pretext of showing this house, the accused called her and raped her after giving her an intoxicating cold drink. The marriage was to take place on 9th May but the accused youth refused to marry.

The victim complained about this matter to the police but the police did not listen to her. After this, the victim along with her parents met DIG Muniraj ji and submitted an application demanding action, but despite the action in the police station, an attempt was made for a compromise. When there was no compromise between the two parties, the victim again complained to the DIG. After this, an order was passed but action was not taken this time also.

TI suspended, departmental inquiry ordered.
DIG got the matter investigated by SP Traffic Subhash Chandra Gangwar. The victim's allegations were found to be true in the investigation. DIG Muniraj ji said that on the basis of the investigation report, the station in-charge Inspector RP Sharma has been suspended and departmental inquiry has been ordered. He has also been barred from leaving the headquarters without permission.
