The Embassy in Iran has also started a Telegram channel from where Indian citizens stranded in Iran can get instant information. Taking another important step, the Indian Embassy informed that India is not only evacuating its citizens but is also assisting in the evacuation process of citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka. This decision has been taken at the request of the governments of Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Help for Nepal and Sri Lanka too

In another post, the embassy wrote, "Citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka can also contact us through our Telegram channel or emergency contact numbers."
