Selfish (Khudgarj)

Govinda made his debut in the industry with Love 86 in 1986 and his successful career began with the release of Khudgarz a year later. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, this movie also featured Govinda, Jeetendra, Neelam Kothari, Amrita Singh and Shatrughan Sinha. 

According to Bollywood Hungama report, the film was a box office success and collected Rs 4.75 crore . 

Shola Aur Shabnam

In 1992, Govinda appeared in the film Shola Aur Shabnam with Divya Bharti, the beautiful and multi-talented actress of the 90s. This film is still famous for its romantic story and songs. Govinda's movie earned  6 crores while making a splash at the box office.

Eyes 

Govinda's pairing with director David Dhawan has been a huge hit. In 1993, both of them made a film together, Aankhen. Many actors like Chunky Pandey, Ritu Shivpuri and Shilpa Shirodkar were also seen in it. The situation was such that Aankhen proved to be a blockbuster at the box office and during that time, this movie did a tremendous business of  14 crores .

Raja Babu 

If we talk about Govinda's classic films, then Raja Babu's name is definitely included in it. Actors like Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Aruna Irani, Prem Chopra and Gulshan Grover were seen with Govinda in this movie. 

The pairing of David Dhawan and Govinda once again proved successful at the box office and Raj Babu tasted success by earning  8.24 crores .

Coolie No.1

Govinda's Coolie No.1, based on a rom-com movie, also entertained the audience a lot. Released in the year 1995, this movie had a fantastic box office collection of  12.56 crores .

Hero No.1

After the success of Coolie No. 1, the film Hero No. 1 proved to be a turning point for Govinda's career. This film created a stir in terms of earnings and made Govinda the real box office hero No. 1. This movie, which came in 1997,  did a business of  14.88 crores .
