New Delhi: Actress Mamta Kulkarni, who appeared in Salman Khan's Karan Arjun and Aamir Khan's film Baazi, was one of the most successful actresses of the 90s. But the 2016 drug case put a big eclipse on the actress's life. Recently, a hearing was held in the Bombay High Court regarding this matter and the decision from the High Court has come in favor of Mamta. 

In the order passed by the division bench of Justice Bharti Dangre and Manjusha Deshpande, an order has been issued to cancel the FIR registered against the actress in this case.

Mamata's troubles reduced in drugs case

In 2016, an FIR was registered against Mamta Kulkarni, one of the legendary actresses of the 90s, by the NDCP (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) in connection with a drug case. A petition was filed in the Bombay High Court to cancel this FIR, on which an order was passed during the hearing on July 22, a copy of which came out on Wednesday. 

The court believes that the material gathered against Mamta cannot be used to conclude that she is a criminal. In its order, the court has asked to cancel the FIR registered in the name of the actress. Let us tell you that in her petition, Mamta Kulkarni had claimed that she is being framed in this case.
