News Topical, Digital Desk : A Hyderabad doctor was arrested on Monday, November 3, for possessing drugs worth Rs 3 lakh. The Telangana Excise Department has registered a case against three drug peddlers. The accused doctor has been identified as John Paul, a resident of Musheerabad. The Special Task Force of the Excise Department raided his house and seized various drugs, including 26.95 grams of ganja, 6.21 grams of MDMA, 15 LSD sticks, 1.32 grams of cocaine, 5.80 grams of gums, and 0.008 grams of hashish oil.
Doctor's friend absconding
According to the department, Paul's friends Pramod, Sandeep, and Sarath brought the drugs from Bengaluru and Delhi. The drugs were stored in Paul's rented house, where the doctor sold them to consumers and paid the three vendors. Pramod, Sandeep, and Sarath are currently absconding.
Drugs recovered from doctor's house
According to officials, Paul became part of this syndicate to continue his drug addiction. The doctor's friends used Paul's house as a safehouse. This house also served as a distribution center for the drugs. According to the report, Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharat ordered drugs from Delhi and Bengaluru. The drugs were stored at Paul's house and sold to people known to the three. Paul was allowed to use the drugs freely because he allowed his house to be used for the sale.
