Hot ginger-lemon tea

  • Drink a glass of cold milk slowly without sugar.
  • Keep in mind, the milk should be cold, hot milk can increase acidity.
  • If you do not have lactose intolerance, then this remedy will prove to be very effective.

Fennel and sugar candy

Fennel has been used for centuries to treat digestive problems. It soothes stomach cramps, relieves gas, and freshens the mouth. Mishri is naturally cooling and soothes heartburn.

How to use-

  • Put one spoon fennel and one spoon sugar candy in your mouth and chew it slowly.
  • If you want, grind them and make powder and take one spoon of powder with water.
  • The habit of eating fennel after meals keeps digestion healthy.

Cloves

Cloves contain eugenol, which is very effective in reducing stomach gas and acidity. It also boosts digestive enzymes.

How to use-

  • Suck on one or two cloves. The juice will slowly penetrate the stomach and provide relief.
  • You can also grind cloves and use its powder.

Keep these things in mind as well 

  • Eat light and simple foods – For the next day or two, stick to light, less spicy, and simple foods. Eat things like lentils and rice, khichdi, or porridge.
  • Drink plenty of water – It's crucial to stay hydrated. Drinking enough water flushes out toxins and aids digestion.
  • Keep moving – Walking after meals improves the digestion process.
  • Avoid these: Stay away from tea, coffee, cold drinks and alcohol, as these can increase acidity further.
