Recently, Dharmendra was honored at the 79th BAFTAs 2026 in the "In Memoriam" segment. Hema Malini expressed her happiness, saying that "He-Man" deserved it. She also said that he was not only a brilliant actor but also a good human being, and that there's no one like him.

Dharmendra's personal life

Dharmendra has been married twice in his life. He first married Prakash Kaur when he was 19 years old. He has four children with Prakash: Sunny, Bobby, Ajita, and Vijeta. After entering films, Dharmendra fell in love with Hema Malini and married her for the second time in the 1980s. The actor has two daughters, Esha and Ahana, with Hema.
