News Topical, Digital Desk : Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar" box office remains unstoppable even after a month and a half. The film has been in theaters for 39 days, yet Ranveer Singh's movie remains unstoppable.
"21" came out, "The Raja Saab" was released, but none of them could dethrone " Dhurandhar " from the box office. Even after a month, the Aditya Dhar directorial hasn't slowed down. Read the full details below on how many crores the film earned worldwide and what new target it is now looking for:
'Dhurandhar' will soon join this club
No one expected "Dhurandhar," which grossed 32 crore rupees worldwide on its first day, to become a storm at the overseas box office. However, the film continued to break record after record and join new clubs. The appetite for "Dhurandhar" hasn't diminished, as it's about to join yet another.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Dhurandar has earned ₹1284.53 crore at the worldwide box office so far. The film now needs to earn ₹16 crore more at the global box office to join the ₹13 billion club. This film has already surpassed RRR worldwide. If the film earns ₹13 billion worldwide, its next target will be Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2'. The film has earned ₹272.25 crore in the overseas market.
Who can stop the speed of 'Dhurandhar'?
Prabhas's "The Raja Saab" was expected to slow down Dhurandhar's momentum at the box office, but that didn't happen. Now, "Border 2," releasing on January 23rd, is expected to give Dhurandhar a tough time at the domestic box office. If any film can dethrone Dhurandhar 2 overseas, it's Shahid Kapoor's "O Romeo," which will be released worldwide on February 13th.
However, the makers of "Dhurandhar" have their own strategy in place. Before the excitement surrounding Ranveer Singh's spy thriller subsides, they will release "Dhurandhar 2," which will clash with "Toxic" in theaters on March 19th.
