News Topical, Digital Desk : Batla House Demolition: The Delhi High Court has reserved its decision on the petitions seeking a stay on the order to demolish the illegal constructions of Batla House in Okhla. The vacation bench of the Delhi High Court reserved the decision after hearing the arguments of both the parties.

Earlier on June 11, the vacation bench of Delhi High Court headed by Justice Girish Kathpalia refused to stay the order to demolish the illegal constructions of Batla House.


The court had said that passing a general order on a PIL could be harmful for private parties. The Delhi High Court had asked all those parties who have received the demolition notice to file a petition within three days .

Notice was sent for illegal construction
Let us tell you that notice has been sent to many illegal shops on the land of UP Irrigation Department in Batla House. According to the information, the notice was issued by DDA on May 26. In the notice, people were instructed to vacate the place, but in response to the notice, people protested.
