News Topical, Digital Desk : On January 18, in Prayagraj, on Mauni Amavasya, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda controversy should end now and that politics should not be played on it. Pushkar Singh Dhami spoke to reporters at the helipad in Muzaffarnagar while traveling to Uttarakhand by helicopter from Muzaffarnagar. He was accompanied by Minister of State Kapil Dev Agarwal, BJP District President Sudhir Saini, and several BJP workers.

Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Muzaffarnagar holds old memories, and the Rampur Tiraha incident is always remembered in the founding of Uttarakhand. Tributes are paid every year on October 2nd. He also provided information about the preparations for the Char Dham Yatra.

'Let's not politicize this'

Pushkar Singh Dhami was traveling from Delhi to Uttarakhand by road. He was to depart from Muzaffarnagar by helicopter. During his visit, he spoke to reporters and, regarding the recent Shankaracharya controversy, simply stated that it should end now. He also criticized the political debate surrounding the issue, stating that no one should engage in politics. He was welcomed by State Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal and District President Sudhir Saini.

Rampur Tiraha incident remembered

The Chief Minister recalled the historical significance of Muzaffarnagar, saying it is a place with significant memories associated with the establishment of the state of Uttarakhand. He also recalled the Rampur Tiraha incident and said that a tribute meeting is held every year on October 2nd.

The Chief Minister also mentioned the Char Dham Yatra and the safety of pilgrims. He stated that the safety of pilgrims during the pilgrimage is a top priority, and the government is making all necessary provisions to ensure that no pilgrim faces any difficulties or problems. Dhami clarified that the government is taking all necessary measures at its own level and that the related controversy should not be politicized.
