News Topical, Digital Desk : Regarding the delays in various government projects in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has issued strict instructions to officials. In a meeting, the Chief Minister told officials that the five-year timelines they provide for projects are unheard of anywhere else in the world.

The Chief Minister stated in a meeting that project timelines should be two and a half years. During the meeting, officials briefed the CM on several projects. He was informed of one project whose work was running late. The CM then asked who the contractor was. Despite the advancement of so much technology, a project remains stalled for three, four, or five years. Does this happen anywhere? The CM directed that all projects be completed within the deadline.

CM Devendra Fadnavis said – this is not acceptable to me.

In this context, during a press conference, the Chief Minister stated that important projects for the state were reviewed. Some of these projects were not completed on time for various reasons. In some cases, work was slow, and in others, officials or contractors faced problems. In many cases, projects continue to run for 7, 8, or even 10 years. This is unacceptable to me.

The CM said that projects must be completed on time. Therefore, monitoring of each project has been initiated through a war room. Any obstacles will be removed. Responsibility for each task will be determined and monitored.
