News Topical, Digital Desk : The buzz surrounding Prabhas' new film "The Raja Saab" took a strange turn when fans were seen throwing confetti during a screening at a theater in Odisha. But the celebration soon turned into chaos as a massive fire broke out in front of the screen. The fire spread rapidly, and the video went viral on social media.

Criticism on social media

The incident occurred at the Ashoka Theatre in Odisha, where fans were seen setting fire to large quantities of confetti inside the cinema hall during a screening of the film. Videos from the theatre quickly spread on social media, sparking discussions about the potential risks to patrons and damage to property. Many users said such actions crossed the line between celebration and recklessness, especially in a closed public space.

As soon as the video went viral online, users reacted with numerous reactions, and most were unforgiving. One user wrote, “This is the maturity of Prabhas' fans. I'm not talking about darling, I'm talking about the fans. You guys shouldn't have done this. Please behave like sensible adults. This isn't your house, this is very bad. You guys are tarnishing Prabhas's name with this behavior.”

Another comment criticized the act as a foolish waste, saying, "It seems they weren't born with any intelligence. Otherwise, why would anyone destroy a theater they've built with so much hard work?" Others shared similar opinions, with one person writing, “If Prabhas were a real fan and a true supporter, he would never do this.”

One user even wrote, "Mental asylum psych ward! Ban all this nonsense! This is dangerous in theaters and can even endanger lives." Several posts emphasized that such behavior could easily lead to accidents and endanger the lives of innocent moviegoers.

There was chaos here too

The Odisha incident wasn't the only controversy surrounding the film's release. Several theaters in Hyderabad also witnessed tensions on Thursday night following confusion over show timings. While premiere shows of "The Raja Saab" were scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on January 8 in Andhra Pradesh, some screenings were reportedly delayed at the last minute due to permission-related issues.
