News Topical, Digital Desk : Chaos erupted at a blanket distribution event organized by Union Minister Chirag Paswan in his constituency of Hajipur, Bihar, when more people arrived than anticipated. The crowd was so large that jostling broke out, and people began snatching blankets from each other. Initially, Chirag Paswan personally distributed blankets to some people, but seeing the chaos growing, he left the scene. Those who did not receive blankets were seen to be angry. Angered by the lack of blankets, the local BJP MLA, Awadhesh Singh, was present at the scene and verbally abused him.

People complained to the MLA about the chaos at the event and the lack of blankets. The BJP MLA shrugged it off, saying the event was for Chirag Paswan, and then left.
While talking to the media, the angry people said that they were called in the name of distribution of blankets but the blankets were given only to special people, do only those people vote.
