Changur Baba caught by UP STF, was running a network of conversion, shocking revelations:

News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttar Pradesh STF has arrested the main accused Jamaluddin alias Changur Baba in the case of running a big racket of illegal conversion. Not only this, the people involved in this network were given training through this cunning man and a book was helpful in this. Along with this, three accused have been arrested. More arrests are yet to be made. During interrogation, Baba has revealed many secrets to STF.

If we look at the complaint regarding Jamaluddin alias Changur Baba gang, then a complaint was received regarding the residence of many suspicious persons in the name of Peer Sahab, Nasreen, Jamaluddin, Mehboob etc. in village Madhpur, police station Uttaraula, district Balrampur, and purchase of property worth crores of rupees - showroom, bungalow, luxury cars within a year with foreign funding. Investigation revealed that Jamaluddin alias Changur Baba son Karimullah Shah, resident of village Rehra Mafi, police station Gandas Buzurg, present address - village Madhpur, police station Kotwali Uttaraula district Balrampur, Naveen Ghanshyam Rohra Rohra resident Mumbai Naveen's wife Neetu Naveen Rohra, daughter Samale Naveen Rohra was living at the above address for the last three-four years.

It was told that all the three persons are basically Sindhis who were brainwashed
and motivated to accept Islam by Changur Shah. After accepting Islam, all three had changed their names to Jamaluddin, Nasreen and Sabiha respectively. Changur Baba was living with them in village Madhpur, next to Chand Aulia Dargah. He used to call himself Peer Baba and Sufi Basfa Hazrat Baba Jalaluddin. He had also published a book named Shijr-e-Tayyaba through which he used to propagate Islam. He was running a whole network of converting young girls and minors by trapping them in love trap.

Abu Ansari, who used the fake Hindu name Amit as a deceitful name for Gunja Gupta, daughter of Avdhesh Kumar Gupta, a resident of Lucknow, lured her into a love trap and took her to a dargah near Changur Shah. There, Gunja Gupta was brainwashed by Neetu alias Nasreen, Naveen alias Jamaluddin etc., and made to convert to Islam by promising a happy life, and was renamed as Alina Ansari.

The rate of conversion was decided according to different castes
. A fixed amount was fixed for converting a Hindu Brahmin, Sardar or Kshatriya girl to Islam. The rate was fifteen to sixteen lakh rupees, ten to twelve lakh rupees for a backward caste girl and eight to ten lakh rupees for girls of other castes. Their job was to pressurize the poor and the helpless to convert by luring them/threatening them with lawsuits.

The main members of this gang, Changur Baba, Mehboob, Pinky Harijan, Hajira Shankar, Amen Rizvi, Sagir, Neetu Rohra etc., target poor and helpless people for conversion and if they do not agree, they put pressure on them by registering cases.

He has travelled to Islamic countries 40 times.
Let us tell you that the members of his gang had travelled to Islamic countries 40 times. Details of their bank accounts have also been obtained. More than 40 accounts were opened by the gang members in their own names and in the name of different institutions, in which transactions of about Rs 100 crore have taken place. According to the information received, FIR No. 221/23 has been registered against the associates/relatives of Changur Baba in Devgaon police station of Azamgarh on the charge of illegal conversion.
