The mastermind of this entire incident is Indrapal alias Tau. Indrapal recently returned to Anupshahr after being released from jail on bail on December 12th. He then wrote the script for this robbery. However, he is once again behind bars. One of the criminals involved in this incident is still at large, but the police claim to arrest him soon.

What is the whole matter?

According to reports, on December 19th, in broad daylight, some posing as CBI officers arrived at the home of Shankar Bhagwan, a prominent building materials dealer in Mohalla Pokhar, in the Anupshahr Kotwali area, and informed the family that a CBI raid was underway. They then looted the house's gold and silver jewelry and cash. When the family became suspicious, the robbers, using their weapons, locked the family in a room, looted the goods, and fled the scene.

The victim's family reported the incident to the Anupshahr police station, after which the police immediately registered a case and began investigating the matter.

Indrapal Tau is the mastermind

Police investigations have identified Indrapal, alias Tau, as the mastermind behind this entire incident. Indrapal had recently returned to Anupshahr after being released from jail on bail on December 12th. He met Sanjay when he needed money. Sanjay used to drive a tractor for the businessman. Sanjay had informed Indrapal about his employer's large sum of money. Prior to the incident, the criminals had conducted a recce of the businessman's house, after which the crime was carried out.

The case was resolved with the help of Trinetra app and CCTV.

SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh said that on December 19th, four men entered the house of a well-known businessman in Anupshahr town, posing as CBI officers. They told the family members that a CBI raid was underway at their place and asked them to cooperate. They then looted and fled. Police from Anupshahr police station and a SWAT team were deployed to investigate. Mobile surveillance, CCTV cameras, and the Trinetra app were also used, which made it clear that the place had been reconnoitered before the incident. Based on the CCTV footage, some criminals were identified, who were then identified through the Trinetra app.

Sanjay had informed about a huge amount of money in the house.

A crucial clue emerged, revealing that Sanjay, the tractor driver at the businessman's house, had tipped off the criminals about a large sum of money in the house. Sanjay was in cahoots with the criminals, and is himself a history-sheeter. Police successfully solved the case and arrested five robbers: Indrapal alias Tau, Yakesh, Sachin, Yashpal, and Sanjay. A reward of 25,000 rupees each was announced for Yakesh and Indrapal. The looted gold and silver jewelry, 135,000 rupees in cash, pistols, and two motorcycles were also recovered from these robbers. One of the robbers' accomplices is still at large and will be arrested soon.
